Akator is a continent of drastically varying climates. Overall, the continent is covered in lots of grasslands, trees, and mountains, and the temperatures are mild. Because gemigons have such warm blood, they can easily survive in these temperatures, and thrive on Akator. The eastern and western parts of it are mostly tundra, with very cold temperatures. Although they could live here and be somewhat comfortable with enough effort, they prefer not to live in these parts as they are too disconnected from Kīlauea.
1. Gem Tail Islands - An island group off of Akator's east coast. The islands' shapes and positions resemble a gemigon's tail. These islands are extremely cold and most gemigons will stay away from them.
2. Kilimanjaro Triangle - A group of three towns on the eastern part of Akator. They are all very small, and rely on each other for resources and help. These towns have extremely strong bonds and almost have their own society.
3. Whispering Forest - While Akator does have plenty of trees, Akator's eastern section has the most dense concentration of them. The entire island is covered in trees and thick forest plants. The only towns inside the forest are Shira and Mawenzi, which are part of the Kilimanjaro Triangle. Sometimes at night, singing can be heard deep within the forest.
4. Isle of Taal - This very small island contains the biggest volcano in all of Akator. There is only one town located on the island, called 'Taal', and it is not heavily populated.
5. Nomad's Valley - The city of Etna lies right in the middle of this valley on the river that splits Akator's eastern side from the rest of the continent. Many gemigons will travel here and form small camps and villages around Etna, which is why it is referred to as "Nomad's" Valley.
6. Kīlauea - The main city where most gemigons live. It is a huge network of underground caves, tunnels, and chambers. Kīlauea's main purpose is to act as a trading hub, and has the largest market of any city or town in Akator. It also has direct underground and overground paths to the six main cities. The underground path is mostly used for transporting things, while the overground path is used for travel.
7. Spirit Realm Temple - A huge cave at the top of the highest mountain in Akator. This is where gemigons, and other creatures, come to communicate with the gods. It is primarily used to make offerings to them.
8. Outlands - Similar to the Gem Tail; it is devoid of animal life and is extremely cold. Gemigons cannot survive here under normal conditions.
