Kīlauea
The main city where most gemigons live. It is a huge network of underground caves, tunnels, and chambers. Kīlauea's main purpose is to act as a trading hub, and has the largest market of any city or town in Akator. It also has direct underground and overground paths to the six main cities. The underground path it mostly using for transporting things, while the overground path is used for travel.
Elevators powered through very simple means, such as pulleys, are used to go to and from the surface. There is one large room that holds elevators to every chamber in Kīlauea. The main chambers are the market, housing, council housing and meeting rooms, a common area, the transport room, and the incubation room.
1. Market - A huge, open area where gemigons from all over sell things such as crafts, accessories, food, and other things. It can easily be compared to a human farmer's market or art festival, where many people get together and put up stalls where they sell food and art that they have made themselves (as opposed to selling mass produced things).
2. Housing - Kīlauea has a huge network of housing, which is very similar to a hotel. There are many rooms that look very similar that gemigons can rent and stay in for as long as they choose. Housing is completely free; there are so many rooms that it wouldn't matter how long a gemigon stayed in one room. One elevator can be used to go to any housing level, and there are elevators at the end of each level that can be taken down one level.
3. Council's Chambers - Housing for council members, located near the council's meeting chambers for easy access. They have rooms similar to the ones that all other gemigons have in Kīlauea.
4. Common Space - A huge cave where gemigons go to relax/hang out/etc. It is a huge, open cave filled with plant life, water, and various other things. Certain parts of the roof of the cave are open to let in light. It is similar to the Sơn Đoòng Cave in Vietnam.
5. Incubation Room - Places where eggs are kept while growing. This chamber is the furthest away from the surface.
6. Transport Room - Place where goods are taken to be prepared to be sent off to different towns. It is also where the underground road is located.
